Summary: The interactive Insulin Pump Training Program course is designed to train new users to the "Engage" insulin pump (not a real pump.) This Storyline course not only educates learners on the parts and functions of the pump, but also simulates different low and high blood sugar scenarios where the learner needs to make a decision regarding their sugar-insulin balance.

Challenge: Insulin pump users do not always have access to a trainer or pump course. This virtual course would educate new pump users on pump parts, functions of their pump, and potential challenges associated with pump usage.

Solution: The Storyline course fulfills learner needs for a course on how to use their new insulin pump and simulate real-world experiences prior to usage. The contemporary, yet colorful, designed course features a practice simulation for users to understand the functions of their new pump when maintaining target blood sugar levels.

Results: The increase in understanding of the parts and function of an insulin pump, as well times in which sugar consumption versus insulin delivery is necessary, can be attributed to the completion of the Insulin Pump Training Program course.
