Summary: The Supporting Your GenZ and Millennial Employees microlearning animation is designed to raise awareness of the support needed for returning or new entry post-pandemic young employees.
Challenge: Due to pass/fail systems, flexible deadlines, and delayed instruction, the GenZ and Millennial workforce may not only have missed critical skills needed to be successful, but also missed rites of passage often associated with their youth. This leads to a lack of skills, increased stress, and a compromised emotional intelligence.
Solution: This microlearning video illustrates the emotional needs and skill gaps that may be prevalent in new or returning hires. To learners, the video illustrates the need for orientation trainings, mentor programs, and flexible programming.
Results: The desired results of this microlearning is a behavioral shift towards understanding the emotional struggles and skill gaps that may be prevalent among post-pandemic GenZ and Millennials entering the workforce.
